Understanding your table tennis skill history
What a rating can tell you, and why the match record still matters.
A skill estimate, not a guarantee
RallyOne uses Glicko-2 on a 1500 scale. A rating is an estimate supported by recorded results, not a guarantee of who will win next. Provisional and established labels describe the available evidence; neither replaces arranging suitable play.
Scores are part of the evidence
Singles rating evidence considers the outcome, games won and valid per-game point detail. Winning does not guarantee a rating increase when the recorded performance is below expectation. Missing detail is handled by the scoring policy, not by guessing scores.
Read the actual history
Use your profile's sport and format controls to inspect the relevant history. Corrections and reversals can change a rating stream. Keep singles and individual doubles ratings separate, and use event standings to understand an event rather than treating them as platform ratings.
