Running a badminton event with a clear match-day plan
A practical checklist from admission to the final report.
Prepare the event
Choose an authorised organiser or club identity. Set the format, capacity and entry conditions, then check who has consented to take part. Publish information that participants can act on. A displayed entry price does not enable payment collection.
Review the draw and schedule
Check the roster and format before generating a draw. Assign times and courts where the event tools allow it. Review group and qualification settings, then explicitly start the event when ready. Merely opening an event page never starts play.
Close with reviewed results
Use the authorised score controls and resolve outstanding reviews. Do not substitute invented scores for unplayed matches. Review completed fixtures before ending the event. New events stage eligible rating changes until End; historical events retain their original rating timing.
